Creating an “AI” Pandemic!

There's lots of focus on AI, so I'd like to also dedicate a post to it. Maybe this post will get so much attention it will start an AI pandemic! BUT...

No, not the AI you call Artificial Intelligence.

I'm going to borrow some Japanese here. In Japanese, AI as in "ai" means:

LOVE.

The Kanji character comprises of four radicals:

爫 + 冖 + 心 + 夂

Just like the English word which has four letters. The letters on their own don't mean much, but putting them together make a beautiful character:

And although a majority of us may not know the true meaning of that word, it does itself unfold in simple actions that you and I can do at any time. Often, the smallest actions can once again re-awaken this little magical character that we need SO MUCH in the world right now.

This post is not a description or an analytic assessment of the word itself since the word is never the actual thing.

But rather a calling.

A calling to all of you that the smallest, simplest of actions are the ones that can make the biggest difference.

For example:

❤️ Saying "hi" to people.

❤️ If you know their names, add their names. "Hi _____"

❤️ Smile

❤️ Laugh (goodness force yourself if you have to!)

❤️ Hold the door/elevator (no need to judge for who)

❤️ Offer to buy your co-worker a coffee

❤️ Give up your seat on public transport

❤️ Help parents with babies get on the bus/train first

❤️ Help someone with heavy items

❤️ Stop interrupting people

❤️ Fix something for someone

❤️ Tell a joke

❤️ Donate things you no longer use

❤️ Write thank you letters

❤️ Tidy-up a public space like a beach/park

❤️ Bring blankets to the home-less

❤️ Give people flowers/plants

❤️ Put coins in an expired parking meter.

❤️ Share knowledge with people

What would you add to the list???

👉 So, can we start an AI (love) REVOLUTION? 👈

If I may suggest, don't do these out of intention - intention of getting or gaining anything from them.

The greatest acts of love occur when 𝘐 am not there.

Love and light,

G.C

In 2018, the Silent Leadership Institute introduced a program called Love@Work. It took teams through a series of simple activities to create a human experience that triggered an environment of inspiration and innovation. More importantly it helped employees to feel they work in loving, caring environments (which led to higher job satisfaction and better teamwork). The classes have since been retired but if you'd like to know more, please DM me - happy to share some more information!
