Oneness is not a a state of mind
“When I talk to you, I want to talk in a space where we are both honored.”
“What would that place be?”
“Where we put aside any differences. Where we put aside any labels and our own constitutions. A place where our eyes don’t judge but are instead listening peacefully.
In this place, where we can share a few stories, laugh a little, cry a little. We can see that the greatest currency in the world has nothing to do with wealth, time, or the accumulation of anything. Where the greatest country in the world is not yours or mine, but all of earth.
Where you, and me come as two separate entities, but sit as one.”
“What would it take to feel this great oneness. Is it silence?”
“Silence is not to be sought, and yet in it is the extraordinary immensity of the space of ‘we’.”
“Is it then, awareness?”
“A great awareness that thinking is not necessary as a tool to judge, expect, fear, comply, and depend on anything. In that awareness, we share what we already are.
Silence may reveal the door, but it is you who must walk through it. And when you can't see the door, hold my hand for just a little while. Perhaps together we will point to that uncovered space.”
