The Indescribable Silence
There is an ultimate peace that exists when walking through a forest. Looking up, you can see the sun shining through the top of the leaves, reflecting a hundred shades of light. You can hear the trees speaking with delight as the wind caresses them, encouraging them to dance. The crackle of a trees is as beautiful as the laughter of a human child.
And down below, you can feel the roots intertwined with delight as they hug in serenity. We too have roots in the earth. All of us do, but so few of us soar into the sky. I wonder why? The ones that do are the creatives, the happy ones that know how to walk in the forest in silence. They do not live in the concept of time. As such, seeking anything, such as purpose, enlightenment, has no meaning. Their footsteps are silent, not a trace left behind. Not a sound is created when stepping on the path. The path itself is not considered a journey. There is no destination to be sought. The silence is not out of effort but rather comes an understanding of an indescribable love for all humanity, for all nature. Such as mind is intelligently aware of the whole.
The rest spoil and destroy. They know not how to appreciate this amazing earth - the abundance that it offers. They continue to spite people, take up differences, divide-and-conquer. The thrive in competition, whether they realize it or not. They are taught that direction, purpose, values, are of utmost importance. They belong to groups and communities that are dividing the earth, as is the identification with any country or religion. All of these create havoc in the world through violence, greed, ambition, the pursuit of desire, the following of others. Such a mind can never understand the indescribable essence and wonder, and awe of what is unknown in the silent mind.
Love and light,
GC
