Lego Serious Play 90 min Workshop
Are you looking to boost your team’s creativity? How about their team-work? What about ENGLISH level? Then the LEGO® Serious Play® methodology could be for you!
In this hands workshop, I provide the bricks to take participants on a journey designed to enhance innovation, creativity, communication and of course, to amplify team collaboration.
HOW IT’S PLAYED
Teams will be asked to use LEGO to explore a specific theme or in response to a critical challenge.
The LEGO bricks work as a catalyst – and when used for building metaphors, they trigger processes that enable clarity of purpose, enhanced communication, conflict resolution, problem-solving and much much more.
Gab often uses LEGO® Serious Play® to boost English skills by encouraging participants at all levels to engage in a fun way, releasing the pressure to speak “perfectly” but rather understand the importance of communication.
This workshop can be paired with a motivational keynote on a variety of topics surrounding the future of work, mental wellbeing, and more. It is usually played at an off-site event or in-house. If in Japan, it can also be played remotely.
IT’S NOT JUST FOR PLAY
A LEGO workshop may sound like just playing about with bricks but the methodology has a serious and potentially transformative purpose, hence ‘Serious Play’. Gab uses LEGO Serious Play in corporate and academic institutions throughout Japan and it’s based on proven studies of constructivism (we learn when our experience and ideas interact) and constructionism (we learn when physically making an object). It is widely recognized that children can learn through play, but the same is also true for adults.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
All of our hosted events depend on how many participants attend but typically for 10 people, 90 minutes in total will be approximately 10万円 in-person (in JAPAN) or about $800 USD offline.
WHAT’S THE PROCESS?
It’s easy! Once you contact us, we will have a pre-meeting to discuss your learning goals (if any), objectives, number of people, dates, and costs (travel costs are not included in the price above).
We will then confirm all the details including the final questions, and confirm payment.
We run the session!
We would like to also consult on whether we will provide the feedback survey or from your side.
